We want to make sure that shopping online is as secure and convenient as possible and thus have implemented the newest available Internet Purchase Security System - Mastercard© Identity Check™ (ID Check).

What is Mastercard© Identity Check™

3D Secure is an additional security layer for online credit and debit card transactions that's created to reduce fraud. With Mastercard© Identity Check™ technology, Cardholder identity is additionally checked at the time of purchase online.

How does ID Check work

When making a payment, after entering the payment card data on the online store page, you will be redirected to the Bank's page to confirm payment with One-Time Security Code (delivered to the Cardholder via SMS) or DIGIPASS code. Always look for your personal assurance message (entered during ID Check activation process at Magnetiq Bank Internet bank) before submitting One-Time Security Code or DIGIPASS code. If a personal assurance message other than yours appears on the screen, please do not proceed and contact the specialists of the Bank by phone: +371 6 777 2 999.

If the Merchant does not participate in 3D Secure payments service, to complete a purchase, please follow the regular checkout process.

ID Check activation

All payment cards of Magnetiq Bank must be activated for online shopping with ID Check. To activate ID Check for your card, visit Internet bank, under section “Accounts”, or Customer Service Center and fill in free-form application.
